Who should wear a mask?
- All people, including children older than 2 should compulsorily wear a mask in public places.
- In areas with high numbers of COVID-19 cases, consider wearing a mask in outdoor settings.
- Wear a mask for activities with close contact with others who are not fully vaccinated.
You also need to wear a mask in indoor places regardless of the level of transmission in your area (this applies to you or your household also) if people around you are:
- Not fully vaccinated
- Fully vaccinated and in an area with substantial or high transmission
- Fully vaccinated and with weakened immune systems
- Are at increased risk for severe disease
- People who have a condition or are taking medications
General instructions
- Try to stay away from crowded areas.
- Maintain a 6 feet distance from people.
- Children below the age of 2 cannot wear a mask. So, ensure you keep them away from people who are not vaccinated or whose vaccination status is unknown to you.
