Who should wear a mask?

  • All people, including children older than 2 should compulsorily wear a mask in public places.
  • In areas with high numbers of COVID-19 cases, consider wearing a mask in outdoor settings.
  • Wear a mask for activities with close contact with others who are not fully vaccinated.

You also need to wear a mask in indoor places regardless of the level of transmission in your area (this applies to you or your household also) if people around you are:

  • Not fully vaccinated
  • Fully vaccinated and in an area with substantial or high transmission
  • Fully vaccinated and with weakened immune systems
  • Are at increased risk for severe disease
  • People who have a condition or are taking medications

General instructions

  • Try to stay away from crowded areas.
  • Maintain a 6 feet distance from people.
  • Children below the age of 2 cannot wear a mask. So, ensure you keep them away from people who are not vaccinated or whose vaccination status is unknown to you.
